Solar Eclipse 2024
The weather didn’t exactly cooperate for today’s solar eclipse (~15:20 EDT). We were able to get a few glimpses before the peak of the eclipse but the clouds soon blocked out the main coverage which was predicted to be about 90% for our area. I expected it to be darker outside considering the sun was mostly by the moon and it was cloudy. Even so, the eclipse was still pretty interesting to witness and I'm glad we were able to see it.
Earlier in the day the weather was really nice and our dog was able to enjoy a lot of time in the water. The water was still quite cold, but that didn’t discourage him at all. The photos below are in chronological order, so you'll need to scroll down to see the eclipse photos.
