For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved the visual arts, or anything creative for that matter, and photography is something that I became interested in at a young age. I remember looking at National Geographic magazine and always being amazed with their ability to tell stories with photographs. I was one of those kids that was always looking at the pictures rather than reading. It turns out that I was hooked on photography, only I didn't know it then.

Throughout my childhood I kept a small 35mm point and shoot camera with me for taking snapshots of whatever caught my eye. Usually it was something small or insignificant that caused me to take a picture. Other times I took pictures for the same reason we all do, to preserve a memory.

These days I almost always have an old 35mm film camera with me and I still use it for the same purpose I did all those years ago. I find it funny that the thing that causes me to press the shutter button is still the same after all these years.

I love what I do and I hope that my personal and professional work reflects that. I always try to do better than I did before and I get pleasure in knowing that my clients are satisfied.

A Brief Professional History

I started out as a Graphic Designer for NIDA Corporation, a global leader in Computer Based Training (CBT) who’s primary customer is the U.S. Military. I created static graphics, animations, web graphics, photographs, print advertisements, and large format posters. I also helped develop interactive simulations of virtual test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes using Flash and ActionScript.

After my tenure with NIDA I began a career as a Senior Aerospace Inspector/Photographer for United Space Alliance (USA), the primary contractor for NASA, and proudly served on both The Space Shuttle and Constellation Programs. My main duty was to document the buildup and disassembly of the Solid Rocket Boosters (SRBs). I also provided photographic support for real-time troubleshooting, Nondestructive Evaluation/Testing (NDE/NDT), preflight pad walk downs, and PR events. Towards the end of The Space Shuttle Program I was included as a Critical Skills Employee. Sadly my career at USA ended when the Space Shuttle Program ended and The Constellation Program was canceled.
